- Develop and maintain device driver code which is used for handset software.
- Device driver code includes basic devices related to baseband chipset and new device which customer wants to use it for the product.
- Support customer to fix device driver issue reported from customer. Device driver engineer has a strong background writing drivers for display, memory, camera, connectivity devices. they can understand each device specification and use tools (logic analyzers, oscilloscope, JTAG, etc) to debug driver issues.
- Work with other functional engineers (System Service, Multimedia) to enhance a mobile software, and to fix a problem.
경력 및 자격요건
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Real Time Embedded Software Development, Drivers, System Integration with a BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Customer support experience preferred; good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience in platform bring-up and integration
- Proficiency in programming languages including C, C++ and Assembly is required.
- Proficiency in writing drivers for communication protocols like I2C/SPI/RS-232/USB/SIM
- Proficiency in using tools like JTAG, logic analyzer, oscilloscope
