- responsible for working closely with inventors to understand their inventions, including the basic technology, the background, field of invention, and the novelty of the invention.
- Review preliminary invention disclosures provided by inventors
- Pre-screen these inventions and provide guidance to the inventor as necessary.
- provide some review and document support through the drafting/filing and prosecuting of the patent application.
경력 및 자격요건
•Undergraduate degree or higher in the areas of Life Sciences or Physical Sciences (physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials. etc).
M.S./Ph.D. preferred, especially in Life Science/Physical Science;
•Knowledge and training in local patent law, and preferably US patent law;
•Local patent application preparation and prosecution experience preferred;
•US patent application preparation and prosecution experience preferred;
•Preferably, at least 4 years experience as a practicing patent attorney/patent agent/patent engineer, with primary emphasis on drafting applications and interacting with inventors;
•Law degree from a reputable university an advantage;
•Excellent English and local language skills, especially in technical subject matters (written, oral and reading);
•Willing to travel moderately;
•Great multi-tasking skills, personable and enjoy interacting with people.
