To be responsible for the growth of sales of TR ILR print, CD and online products in Korea. To work with TR ILR publishers and sales channels to establish product positioning and optimize sales performance for international print, CD and online products in the market. Supports pre- and post-sales and marketing activities with customers and trade channels.
To be the main point of contact for direct and trade sales in Korea, presenting frontlist titles and key backlist titles to trade accounts on regular basis.
Plan and execute marketing activities including direct mail, e-mail campaigns and exhibition attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, manage and enhance existing reseller and customer relationships in order to optimize sales performance in each market
- Analyze print, CD and online sales volumes by publisher to help identify variances, build sales forecasts and provide guidance to sales efforts to maximize revenues.
- Communicates with re-sellers through regular e-mail correspondence and face to face meetings. Make ISM presentation on frontlist titles three times a year – provisionally March, July and September
- Takes the initiative in identifying promotional opportunities, keeping resellers and distributors informed of marketing activities and ensuring they have proper marketing support materials in a timely manner.
- Attends trade shows and other industry functions to build and strengthen industry relationship and contacts.
- Communicate business plans and strategies to key executives.
- Research and visit key academic institutions to increase sales of TR ILR products in this market sector.
- Prepares and oversees tactical marketing plans involving catalog, direct mail, in-store promotions, creation of local sales collateral, advertising, web marketing and tradeshows for sales in Korea.
- Manages budgets including travel and marketing
- Monitors, analyses and reports results of promotional efforts in conjunction with channel partners
- Analyzes industry trends and competitive products to provide market insight to TR ILR Publishers and channel partners
- Monitor effectiveness of third-party relationships and isolate aspects that prove obsolete or inefficient.
- Understand the economics of each channel and make recommendations or adjustments to optimize the performance of each distribution channel
- Assess short-term opportunities in existing channels and develop a short-term modification strategy.
- Provide information requested by manager to support the process of developing an ideal channel system;
- Regularly report on financial and marketing results in accordance with company reporting standards
- Partner with TR ILR Publishers, channel partners and the relevant finance, credit services, marketing, and customer support departments
- Collaboratively explore issues, develop recommendations and implement solutions to address any inefficiencies in the pre-sales, order fulfillment, or post-sales support process
- Perform other related duties and participate in company projects as assigned by your manager

• University graduate
• 5 - 6 years sales experience
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Korean
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Legal background(desirable)
