- Lead robust Technical Reviews for all New Parts/Potential New Suppliers Prior to Source Selection ensuring supplier understands our Quality Requirements
- Ensure Suppliers meet Quality System Requirements including the use of PFMEA Guidelines, Comprehensive Control Plans and a FTQ process that includes alarm limits, reaction plans and an improvement process.
- Develop expertise in key manufacturing processes.
- Provide APQP Assistance During Prototype Development Process on Strategic High Risk Components
- Establish and execute a plan to meet key program dates for all assigned parts.
- Conduct Robust Evaluation and Approval of all Sourcing Recommendations
- Involve others (SQE, Engineering, Buyers) as appropriate in APQP Activities
- Ensure supplier processes are capable of achieving required quality levels.
- Support new sourcing program in region
경력 및 자격요건
- Excellent English OR Chinese language skills, verbal and written
- High level of analytical ability & Problem Solving Technique/Skill ( 5 Why or equivalent)
- Strong Leadership skills;
- Function independently with minimal supervision and technical guidance;
- Demonstrates high level of interpersonal skills;
- PC literacy.Excel.PowerPoint,Word etc
- Good knowledge of Steering Products;
- Knowledge on Engineering terms, GD&T, Auto-parts;
- Team development skills.
- Cultural sensitivity;
- Motivational skills.
- ISO 9001 & TS16949 Quality System Awareness
- Supplier Assessment Experience based on ISO 9001 and preferably TS16949
- 4 years Degree (in Purchasing/Engineering/Automotive preferred)
- 5 years experience in automotive components, specifically steering desirable.
- 3 Years Supplier Development Experience preferred.
