1. Support pre-sales and post-sales customers and help them to understand the functionality of company
2. Explain difficult and complex concepts to customers in clear and simple language.
Compile key inputs from the field and effectively communicate such inputs to the marketing team for successful next generation products.
3. Teach customers the different usages of company's products.
4. Diagnose and debug intricate and complex problems that customers are experiencing.
5. Study and gain expertise on new products quickly and transfer such information to both internal and external customers.
6. Analyze and articulate problems that can't be solved using traditional trouble shooting data and processes. In this instance, the application engineer will isolate the issue, identify the problem and interact directly with the engineer responsible to find a solution.

Education :
B.S./M.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (BSEE, MSEE) or related fields
Qualifications and Characteristics
1. Minimum 5 years work experience in the semiconductor industry.
2. At least 2 years experience with Embedded Processor (CPU or DSP), SW or HW Development
3. Experience in programming using C and assembly languages
4. Knowledge of embedded processor programming, debugging, and emulation
5. Some application knowledge in 2 of the 3 following domains: wireless communications; image signal processing; or video signal processing.
6. Technical acumen with a business attitude, and a high degree of enthusiasm and energy
7. Self driven with strong ability to take ownership of customer relationships, solve technical issues and handle solution coordination with customers and this comany R&D and Support organization
8. Excellent presentation, communication, listening and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate issues and solutions
9. Excellent Korean language capabilities; Good English language capabilities (very good reading; good understanding of spoken English; average speaking ability); additional other foreign language knowledge is advantage
10. Team player with a professional and positive attitude
Willing and capable to travel inside Korea and abroad when necessary (mostly around Asia).
