• Case Underwriting: need to have strong capability of handling medical and financial FAC cases with the understanding of RGA’s UW philosophy.
• Planning skills: ability to analyse data for FAC or relevant statistics and strategize results into objectives. Assist with periodic internal reports.
• Manage internal guidelines including the management of manual updates and Korea specific guidelines while communicating with regional teams to reflect local circumstances.
• Projects: support on-going projects that require both UW input and statistical analysis.

• 5+ years of life and living benefits underwriting experience.
• Highly advanced knowledge of insurance principles, underwriting policies and procedures and guidelines for dealing with risk analysis.
• Highly advanced knowledge of medical, financial and legal aspects as applicable to evaluation of life reinsurance risks.
• Advanced ability to comprehend and interpret insurance documents.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to build professional relationships with team and various clients
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively within a changing environment
• Project and process planning ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have a good command of both spoken and written English
• A passion for life insurance
