▪ Channel research (Duty Free/ Department store/ H&B / E-Com and other retail channels in local market)
▪ Competitor research through internet/market visit/papers & contacts
▪ Market trend research
▪ Consumer trend research
4. New brand research & development
▪ Knowledge of global retail industry (trends / market evolution)
▪ Research new brands & explore new business opportunities
(Local & Overseas market visit – Department stores, Duty Free, Specialty shops & Fairs / Internet / Magazines & news / Contacts etc)
▪ Preliminary negotiation skills to measure feasibility studies with potential brands
▪ Responsibility as a new business contact point & communication.
5. People management
• Design strategic staff plan and recruit the right person to make the best efficiency
• Manage people to provide the best quality of service
Motivate staff and personal meeting to enhance team spirit and to share the objective

A. Key competencies for the position
▪ Over 10years related experience.
Market Insight of imported brands in H&B stores, departments, duty free & e-retail channels
▪ Ability to analyze and define business opportunity & creativity for Korea retail market
▪ Adequate knowledge on consumer goods - Cosmetic
▪ Competency in presentation & negotiation skills
▪ Good interpersonal skills / selling skills
▪ Good communication/negotiation skills with global counterparts
B. Profiles preferred and skills required
▪ Retail / brand / development / experience in consumer goods
▪ Sufficient in English, effective communication in both Korean, English
▪ MS-office skills
▪ Sociable, open mind, willing to discuss & adapt the ideas and plans with internal, external departments.
