This position has the business Development responsibility for Global Freight Management (GFM), Korea. GFM business scope in Korea includes export and import freight forwarding, air, ocean (FCL and LCL), road (cross border trucking) and multi-modal transportation, multi-country and buyer consolidation, customs brokerage and related services.

Reporting to the Country Head of Korea, the incumbent is based at Seoul and responsible for achieving the profitability targets, service and productivity standards, compliance and risk management requirements, and strategic and project initiatives for the BU. At the initial stage the performance priorities of this positions are:

**Major R&R**
Business Development

- Research market and new opportunities, especially in air and ocean freight business.
- Develop, update and manage pipeline, screen and prioritize opportunities
- Collaborate closely with In-country Logistics, Global Business Development, Central Agency Development, and other GFM country teams, other LF business units, and overseas agents to build pipeline and win new businesses
- Participate in regional and local RFP/RFQ
- Prospect targets, identify customer needs, collect data
- Develop solution and pricing
- Negotiate and close deals
- Establish working rapport and trust with new customers
- Plan, coordinate and supervise implementation
- Evaluate success and failures to improve business development practices and enhancement of profitability

- 10 ~ 15 years
- BD 역량 중심 + air & ocean freight business에 솔리드한 경력 보유자
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Korean, people management
