담당업무
1. Strategic initiatives including risk management plan (50%)
 Identify process improvement area and proceed with improvement plans
 Implement underwriting risk management plan by identifying improvement areas by analyzing the latest claims ratio, sales pattern, regulations and proposing implement plan with working closely with every stakeholder
 Participate in relating to service enhancement or business initiatives arise from company’s strategic/operational business plan

2. People management (25%)
 Supervise and motivate Underwriting staff members by offering recognition for superior customer service results, allowing job variety, providing feedback on employees’ performance, empowering employees to make decisions and supporting training education & development activities
 Review, monitor and improve the productivity of Underwriting staff members to ensure department benchmark is met or exceeded
 Manage the succession planning by reviewing and identifying potential successors, further to implement training and development activities to ensure the succession planning is effective

3. Quality / productivity management (20%)
 Delegate underwriting authority to underwriters and ensure adequate controls, monitoring and review/appraisal are in place to ensure continuous competency of the authority holders and the quality of the underwriting decisions
 Achieve targeted service quality benchmarks with diligent management

4. Underwriting (5%)
 Determine whether to take new business, belated disclosure, pre-underwriting and reinstatement cases or not through assessing the risks of them in accordance with underwriting guidelines

5. Other responsibilities
 Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements
경력 및 자격요건
 Community college graduate or above
 Four years or above experience in Life underwriting
 High level of acumen in the areas of listening, strategic/analytical thinking, problem solving and innovative thinking
 Proven ability / leadership to manage the department
 Strong interpersonal/relationship skill
 High self-motivation and positive working attitude
 Able to work under pressure
