• Lead the Design Team from the design side, partnering directly with design leadership. Manage large scale projects and processes while supervising, reviewing and delegating work. Motivate individuals to excel in their performance and contributions.
• Develop and execute clear and detailed sketches, technical packages and bill of materials (boms) while leading team of supporting designers.
• Partner with design leadership to drive concepts for apparel and overall product conceptualization including material, trim and color.
• Ensure that designs meet category price point and target margin.
• Lead creation of seasonal category content and milestone deliverables.
• Partner directly with product and merch leads to deliver appropriate global assortment.
• Present as design lead at category and seasonal milestone meetings; design check points, style design review, color review.
• Conduct market and trend research in conjunction with the design team; contribute creative design skills or product concept direction and ensure that products are designed to meet the goals of merchandising and sales.
• Maintain positive open lines of communication with management, staff and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization

• Minimum 10 years of experiences in Sports/Outdoor/Golf Fashion Industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design
• Advanced knowledge of apparel construction, material construction and properties, c osting, pattern making, embroidery and screen printing
• Strong organizational skills for managing timelines to adhere, balancing the requested design options and concise initial design technical packages for development
• Strong merchandising skill set to understand line size, balancing of color within the assortments and building of key outfits
• Good at influencing, presentation, communication, negotiation and teamwork
• Good in English (both verbal and written)
• Versed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop a plus
• Good computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
