1) Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Assist and review the month-end and year-end closing reporting and related activities, collaborating with SSC for all accounting matters
- Assist monthly/quarterly/year-end reporting package with supporting analytical reports and ensure that the financial statements are prepared in a timely manner and comply with the monthly reporting schedule
- Assist to provide periodic variance analysis for sales, margin, operating expenses, capital investment, etc.
2) Budgeting and Planning
- Support annual budget building and reporting process
- Support the gross margin forecast and analysis, based on the sales by category information
- Support the retail operating expense budget for amortization, store rent expense, credit card expenses, etc.
- Support Finance Manager to develop the G&A operating expense budget except payroll
- Gather the overseas travel plan to come up with T&E budget for all departments
- Support the budget package upload to the system for submission
3) Internal Control
- Perform the store audits to ensure that all operating procedures in the stores are in line with the store guideline and/or policy
- Prepare the sensitive transaction report, which includes the discount and returns, etc., for the periodic review with Finance Manager and Retail Operations Team
- Review the inventory adjustments in POS for the stock variances, such as loss, theft, destruction, etc., which are reported with appropriate supporting documentation and approved by the management
