담당업무
In-house copywriter and translator who is bilingual in English and Korean (both spoken and written) to join Asia-Pacific Marketing team, the position will be based in Seoul. Reporting to Asia-Pacific Regional Marketing Manager based in Hong Kong and Global Senior Copywriter based in London, you will be responsible for the copywriting, translation and proofreading of marketing content in South Korea. You will also be responsible for liaising with the South Korea Online team and external partners on all copy-related matters. This is a great opportunity for a hard-working and creative individual to play an influential role in developing the brand in South Korea.
• Preserving the brand essence and tone of voice for all content
• Focusing in creating original editorial content relevant to the market and of customer interest, as well as creating and translating long and short form global content
• Act as guardian of brand tone of voice in the market
• Work with Global team in developing our tone of voice
• Translation support across other key brand channels
• Developing and maintaining a Style Guide and e-commerce glossary in Korean
• Supporting digital team to make SEM/SEO relevant to South Korea market
• Supporting e-commerce partner & Online team with website copy
• Liaising with external partners to ensure the brand essence and tone of voice is preserved
경력 및 자격요건
• A minimum of 3-5 years professional experience in a translation and copywriting role
• Spoken and written language skills: native Korean, fluent English
• A degree in Korean or English language, Marketing, Communication, Translation, Journalism or related subjects
• Experience of working in fashion/ lifestyle/ editorial/ e-commerce environment
• Knowledge of Korean cultural, digital, fashion retail and digital landscape, as well as deep insight into more nuanced market characteristics and sensitivities
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms
• A strong understanding of brand and tone of voice
• Creativity and sensitivity as a writer and translator
• Project management skills, must be able to manage multiple projects and requests, efficiently shifting gears at a moment’s notice
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Flexible and able to work to very tight deadlines under pressure
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
