1. Devise and drive execution of marketing and communications strategies to deliver the Korea P&L
• Delivery of one year and 3 year marketing and communications plan for Korea.
• Drive the team to execute plans flawlessly.
• Advocate the measurement of the performance of all activities to prove business benefit.
• Deliver financial objectives (T5) through careful budget management and effective pr omotional support.
2. Build , develop and promote an effective, engaged and talented marketing team
• Inspire, lead, engage and motivate people through regular feedback, 1:1’s PDP’s and clear objectives.
• Mentor New Zealand’s marketing effort, providing appropriate resource from the rest of the team.
• Manage processes to ensure that the team is as effective as possible to meet business goals.
• Identify gaps in knowledge and skills in the team and build appropriate development solutions.
• Develop talent and succession plans, driving team growth and talent development.
3. Own brand development, advertising and media in the Korea market across all categories, driving business growth
4. Lead the Korea communication agenda - in-store, above the line, online and internally
• Deliver internal strategy, communication and leadership within the Korea business and the wider group, globally where appropriate.
• Partner with Sales Leadership and sales teams to deliver appropriate messaging and tagging to ensure we meet our volume and mix targets, ensuring alignment of activity and resources.
• Work with the sales teams to deliver exceptional and differentiated communication strategies in new distribution channels (DIY, Grocery etc), driving volume growth.
5. Deliver a category management function to the Korea business
• Build the team necessary to deliver in this area.
6. Ensure that consumer insight drives all Korea business decisions

• An excellent marketer with both trade and product experience and significant experience leading a team at a senior level
• Strong commercial orientation with a proven P&L track record
• Operational rather than creative, although must demonstrate creative flair
• Evidence of leading large project management initiatives
• Proven success at managing a complex portfolio of products and ranges
• Evidence of budget control and high level of numeracy
• Strong CRM and online experience
• Degree of 2:1 or above, preferably graduate of business tudies/economics/arts subject or related
• High level of communication skills both verbal and written
• Well-developed interpersonal and relationship skills see you as a highly respected coach and advisor
• Strong leadership; builds capability and coaches both own team as well as Leadership Team
