This role is responsible for technical support service to be provided to customers in Republic of Korea, this role is in charge of customers complaints management and solving of technical issues related to Company’s products. In cooperation with Regional Technical support centre in Shanghai (PRC) this role provides solutions on reported problem, corrective action plans and assists in technical tests of new products introduced to customers.
This position is responsible of technical communications with customers, bridging their technical requests and needs with product development team of company
Key tasks
•To organize and maintain technical support process in key focus applications per customers’ requests.
•Technical communication with customers, understanding customers’ technical and business needs and provide technical solution both for technology and products;
•To take part in regional Technical support service development, budgeting and execution;
•To host needed trials and testing at customers or partners side as well as independent third-parties universities, etc.;
•To track customers testing progress, manage customers technical visits, technical communication, case execution.
•To run local TS laboratory, select and maintain equipment, materials etc.
•To plan technicians’ trainings and arrange other relevant employees for technical trainings.
•To gain an in-depth understanding of the product, the technology and process, its possible applications across various sectors – to be able to grasp the prospective clients’ challenges and assist them with their trials of our products leading to commercial deployment;
•To maintain the safety rules during the working process, train and control the team for safety rules compliance
경력 및 자격요건
Degree:
•PhD or Master level degree is obligatory in one of the following areas: Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Engineering or Material Science.
Hand-on experience:
•5 years’ experience in technical support or business development or new products development in following applications and industries
-Thermoplastics/thermoplastic compounds and reinforce plactisc
-Li-Ion Batteries and their upstream supply chain (Active materials, separators, electrolytes, binders etc)
-Tires, functional rubbers or special rubber applications (including silicon rubbers, NBR, EPDM, FKM, SBR)
-Conductive polymers
-Conductive additives (Carbon Black, carbon fibers or others)
Skills:
•good communication skills, ability to engage with customers at all levels – management, technical specialists, small companies, etc;
•Languages: native Korean, advanced level of English (business and technical)
•Ability to work independently and as a part of multi-cultural global team
•Self-motivated and can be working at high pressure.
