- Responsible for monthly closing of financial accounts, cash flow management,
financial analysis, local compliance and corporate governance, statutory and management reporting
- Ensure that the monthly management reporting is carried out efficiently, within the stipulated timeframe and in accordance to set standards
- Plan and co-ordinate the annual budgeting exercise and quarterly rolling forecast
- Manage the taxation by ensuring that all taxes are paid accurately and on a timely basis
- Create, evaluate and maintain an effective internal control system. Evaluate key business processes and identify improvement areas
- Collaborate across functions to support decision making
- Provide strong support to the General Manager, Korea and Board in all ad hoc projects, including the setup of back-of-house, on-going business development, and information systems implementation

- University degree in Accounting/Finance discipline with CPA professional qualifications
- At least 10 years solid experience in Accounting and Finance, with at least 5 years of experience in the local retail industry with a multinational company
- Hands on knowledge in Korean and International GAAP, tax laws and local compliance
- Strong analytical mind with collaborative and commercial approach for problem solving and decision making
- Well versed in Microsoft Office and highly proficient in MS Excel spreadsheet. Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable

- Ability to work well under pressure and handle tight reporting deadlines
