-The Windows Systems administrator is a member of the Production Support team which is charged with availability, performance, security and maintenance of the production Windows environment and where applicable ensuring that these production services meet or exceed their prescribed SLAs. The role involves the design, implementation and maintenance of the Windows environment and associated systems and software as well as providing 24x7 supports for essential services. The environment includes Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange as well as the Desktop environment and portable devices.
-Performs moderately complex Wintel systems administration. Monitors and tunes appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of performance.
-Oversees appropriate level software installations and upgrades and related software packages.

Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2010/ 2012
Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management
Microsoft Exchange 2007 / 2010
System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Cisco / Extreme or similar
SAN Hardware management / support
Virtualisation Technologies (Hyper-V / VMware
