Field Application Engineering(ASEAN & Korea)
The primary point of technical support to assess customer requirement and work with internal engineering, sales and marketing to derive solution to meet customers’ needs. Assist customer in while product development cycle, i.e. the selection, evaluation, integration, testing, approval, carrier certification, manufacturing and maintenance of their devices using Sierra Wireless communicating products and tools
2. Support customer in design phase, prepares drawings, plans and diagrams for electronic engineering work under the direction of electronics engineers and engineering technologists
3. Inspects customer designs and installations for compliance with specifications, drawings, contracts and regulations
4. Follow up the projects with the customer until design Win. Requires comprehensive technical support for customer product design.
경력 및 자격요건
-Education : B. Tech / B. E (or equivalent) – Electronics & Communication Engineering
-At least 10 years of applicable system design and / or applications engineering related working experience
-Previous C/C++, Linux programming experience in embedded system is referred.
-Previous system-level, application and PCB design experience is advantageous.
-Must be comfortable working hands-on in a lab environment or customer manufactory with electronic test equipment and procedures.
-Previous experience in a customer support and project management is a plus.
