• Provides advice to our company about patent, industrial design and utility model matters. Works closely with inventors to help them identify and protect innovations. Assists our company in developing optimal intellectual property strategies to protect its innovations and businesses.
• Prepares and prosecutes patents, utility models, and industrial designs and supervises outside counsel's work on such matters.
• Supports litigation, and administrative actions involving patents, industrial designs, utility models and other types of industrial property rights.
• Supports transactional activities involving industrial property rights.
• Provides client education about inventions and industrial property rights.
• Promotes awareness of industrial property rights within the our company organization, and promotes the use of industrial property rights in our company .
• Assists in managing our company industrial property portfolio

• Possesses a university degree (or higher) in a technical discipline. A degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or • Possesses a university degree (or higher) in a technical discipline. A degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science is preferred, but technical disciplines will be considered.
• Possesses superb oral and written English language skills
• Qualified as a Korean Patent Attorney and has at least 3 years of experience in the areas of patent drafting and prosecution and infringement analysis and opinions.
• Has experience drafting simple agreements involving confidentiality or industrial property rights, like non-disclosure agreements and assignment documents.
• Has at least a basic knowledge of United States intellectual property laws.
• Is able to function effectively in a multi-cultural, multinational environment.
• Takes initiative, thinks independently and possesses effective communication skills.
