• Responsible for creating orders via voice, fax, internet, and/or EDI.
• Coordinates the planning of Pick-Up, Build-Up, Load, Cross Dock, Break Down and Delivery considering the variables such as schedules, capacity, routing options, equipment, cost, and time.
• Communicates the “Plan” to the selected service partners via phone, internet, EDI, and fax.
• Must have a thorough understanding of the processes and be able to communicate timelines, procedures, and reporting requirements with service partners.
• Monitor the process of shipments, identify failures, and pro-actively create and coordinate solutions.
• Overage, Shortage & Damage (OSD) Administration to include a full understanding of the rules, processes, exceptions and claim comprehension.
• Collects and reports transportation service performance, revenue, and cost data into a series of databases for management analysis.

*3 + years transportation experience required
*A minimum of 35 WPM.
*Additional knowledge required in cargo security, hazardous material handling, and size - weight limitations by transportation mode.
