- Developing Products with internal design team, overseas manufacturers, suppliers, Product Managers for company's product categories.
- Frequently communicating with HQ & international office’s engineering, product management, departmental staff, vendors, manufacturers, suppliers, U.S. Design teams, U.S. executive management, U.S. Marketing teams, etc.
- Ensuring suppliers/manufacturers/engineering team provide adequate testing and regulatory conformance to required quality, cost, reliability, safety and required certifications.
- Monitoring development during manufacturing to ensure product quality issues are being tracked and resolved.
- Providing input to the product design to help ensure the highest quality products.
- Providing management with status, impact analyses, and recommendations necessary to make decisions to resolve quality or production issues to meet all commitments.
- Anticipating potential production, cost or quality problems.

*7 + years demonstrated mechanical engineering project management fundamentals experience including defining, scheduling, tracking, communicating status, and managing projects and developing processes required in the Consumer Electronics industry.
*5 + years demonstrated effective communication, presentation, negotiation, planning, organization, and facilitation skills internally and with ODM required.
*Knowledge of Audio & Video products
*Experience with high-volume Consumer Electronics company preferred.
*BS Mechanical Engineering
*Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
*International travel will be required
