The successful candidate will manage projects in assay development, implementation of high throughput visual-based assays for XXX’s drug discovery and basic research programs and will also manage the compound testing, data analysis and results interpretation as well as other duties as required within STP. The successful candidate will supervise a couple of researches for their work and progress of their projects.

Applicants for this position should have a Ph.D. in cell biology or biochemistry, with previous experience in mammalian cell-based assay development. The ability to work in a Biosafety Level 3 environment with infectious mirco-organisms is required for this position. Working knowledge of IDBS AcivityBase, Spotfire DecisionSite and other software commonly used in HTS is essential. Previous expertise in chronic disease biology, infectious disease biology, image analysis and high throughput confocal microscopy would be an asset. As the working language is English, good oral and written English communication skills are also required.
