Respirator product development Engineer
Mechanical Eng, Chemical Eng, Materials Science and Eng, and Textiles Eng, and related area. The main responsibility includes new product development across maintenance free respirators and re-usable respirators. Employee is required to become knowledgeable and specialized in respirator components and filtration. Need the ability in interacting with customers, marketing and technical service in taking customer desires/needs/wants into defined products. Strong skills in the area of "hands-on" lab work in prototyping and concept development. Be able to tailor filtration web specifications for specific product applications. Understand the manufacturing process of filter web, converting, and assembly. Need understanding statiscial analysis for product design and performance validation. Become expertise in process qualification, validation, and managing new product development process, and communicating knowledge of product and technology platform. Need strong coordination skills with 3M manufacturing and outside vendors for process improvement and problem solving are required. Require the ability to interact with international colleagues and learn/teach ideas and best practices.



Responsibilities include:

-Product development of respirator products
-Excellent communication skills are required to Interact with international colleagues and share the knowledge and best practices
-Lead a project commercialization process and coordinate a product development project team

- Good communication skills with international customers and colleagues
- Good scientific background in understanding materials and statistial analysis
- Major in Material Engineering,Chemical Engineering,Polymer Science is preferred
