JOB FUNCTIONS:
Application Manager acts as the technical interface between Siltronic and customers, and is required to work together with account managers in providing excellent technical support to maximize our business at customers.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
• Secure the highest level of support to customers in terms of competence,
responsiveness and quality of service (technical consulting, wafer optimization,
problem solving, spec proposals, and qualifications).
• Support affected Siltronic Operations/Business Services in all relevant technical
customer requirements
• Communicate effectively (within the Account teams, AT, etc.) to create a maximum
synergy between all customers around the world.
• Provide input and feedback on all relevant technical customer trends and
requirements.
• Promote Siltronic’s products to initiate qualification for new business
• Drive the investigation of customer technical and quality challenges
• Introduce process changes for customers,
• Coordinate specification optimization with customers
경력 및 자격요건
Work EXPERIENCE:
The Application manager / Application Engineer should have the following skills and
experience. Persons not complying with the requirements have to get the necessary training.
• Min. 5 years Semiconductor working experience, experience in IC device or Silicon
Wafer fabrication is a plus
• Good experience in data management and statistical analysis
• Experience in customer interface is a plus
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS :
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and fluent in English and Korean
• Good knowledge on IC devices and/or silicon wafer processes/applications
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft products (e.g.., Word, Excel, Powerpoints)
OTHER QUALITIES:
• Possesses initiative, self-motivation and the ability to work well under pressure and
manage multiple priorities
• Ability to travel
EDUCATION:
• Min. BS Degree in Engineering / EE / Material Science / Physics, MS or Ph.D is a
plus
