Specific responsibilities include:

• Perform on an ongoing basis analysis of advanced trends in volatile and non-volatile memories. Quantify impact on implant TAM. Prepare monthly updates for VSEA executive team.
• Identify implant recipe sets for advanced nodes in DRAM, NAND and emerging memory architectures.
• Formulate, based on the above info input to BU Product Marketing team on emerging implant requirements, min/max energy range trends, new species, process control, etc. Develop technical justification for setting specs for new VSEA implant products.
• Initiate and provide marketing support to R&D projects to address emerging implant requirements.
• Identify trends, issues and opportunities in process equipment segments other than implant, provide input to VSEA Business Development team.
• Establish and manage collaborative relationships with IDMs and universities to drive process development and new applications projects for advanced memories.
• Develop technical presentations for VSEA products.
• Publish technical papers.

Requires an MS (Ph.D. preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or related technical degree and 10+ years of experience in a process engineering position with IC manufacturer or with a major manufacturer of capital equipment for semiconductor industry. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must as individual in this position will be required to interact extensively internally (with executives) and externally (with customers). Good business acumen is highly desirable. Position will require availability to travel both domestically and internationally (15-20%).
